Don’t talk to a preacher right before he goes to give his sermon if you’re going to have one of those dumb moments. They always find a reason to put it in their lesson. Even if it means going completely out of their way to do so. ;)

We’ve been so concerned about being cool, relevant, and fun that we have forgotten to be bread, light, and life to a hungry, dark, and dying world.

We Need Peace.

So there is this person that just gets on my nerves all the time. She acts like a child with all of her drama and selfishness. She gets mad and won’t talk to you for days and then you’re her “best friend” again. It’s been pretty hard trying to deal with her. I don’t want to have to deal with a person like that. Shouldn’t I just tell her off once to make her leave me alone? Then can’t I just walk away and never speak to her again?

I keep thinking of Romans 12:18 where it says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” God forgave us so much. He has given us more than what we could ask for. Do you think that he wanted to die on the cross? He prayed to God and asked him if there was another way. So what right do we have to say that we are fed up with people and that we don’t want to be around them? I mean, yea, if you really can’t handle it then you should probably leave. Leaving would, I think, be better than letting your anger out if you can’t control it. But search really deep first. There are so many ways that we could make peace with people and not just that but we could love them! Jesus loved us so why not love them? We need more love. So next time you see that person you don’t like or the person that doesn’t like you. Find something you do like about them; their shirt, shoes, hair, something. Then maybe tell them that. Or maybe just invite them to dinner. Maybe you could even tell them that you don’t like the harsh feelings between you two. Tell them that you know God wants better than that. Then maybe you’ll be a witness  to them too! I’ve started getting back on the good side of one of my harsh relationships and I have high hopes of it getting much better! :)

Diary?

Oh! Don’t you just love God?!? I love God I really do. There are quite a few things I need to get out sometimes and I just might be using this blog as a diary. Of course I will probably still try to post pictures and things but I really would like to use this as a diary sort of thing. Think of how much I could just go on and on about God! hahaha… Oh don’t you just love Him? He’s given us so so so very much… We could never pay him back what he’s given to us. I don’t care who you are or what you think you can do you just can’t. He’s so great! God’s love extends so much! Probably more than what our little minds could even imagine! Oh God is good. :)
